Nexly connects people through shared interests, sports, leisure and real-life encounters.

So that everyone feels safe and welcome, the following Community Guidelines apply.

By using Nexly, you agree to comply with these rules.

We want to build a community defined by:

• respect
• openness
• honesty
• helpfulness
• diversity
• safety
• fairness

Every user should feel welcome, regardless of origin, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.

Always treat other users with respect.

The following, in particular, are not allowed:

• insults
• bullying
• intimidation
• threats
• harassment
• provocation
• discrimination
• hate speech
• defamation

Different opinions are welcome. Personal attacks are not.

Content that:

• glorifies violence
• threatens violence
• incites violence
• promotes dangerous acts

is prohibited. This applies to activities as well.

Nexly does not tolerate any discrimination on the basis of:

• origin
• skin colour
• religion
• gender
• age
• disability
• sexual orientation
• political belief

Repeated attacks against individual users are prohibited.

This includes, among other things:

• deliberate shaming
• exclusion
• public humiliation
• offensive comments
• offensive messages

The following, in particular, are prohibited:

• unwanted sexual messages
• suggestive comments
• unwanted images
• intrusive behaviour
• sexual harassment at meetings

Violations may lead to immediate suspension.

Please use:

• real information
• up-to-date profile pictures
• no fake identities
• no stolen images

Fake profiles can be permanently removed.

Where possible, meet other users:

• in public places
• during the day
• let friends or family know
• trust your gut feeling

If something feels off, leave the situation. Your safety always comes first.

Users may only upload images:

• for which they hold the required rights,
• or for whose use they are explicitly authorised.

The following, in particular, are not allowed:

• stolen images
• copyrighted content used without permission
• manipulated images intended to deceive other users
• images of other persons without their consent, where such consent is required
• offensive or pornographic content
• images depicting violence or shock content

Nexly may remove such content at any time.

Nexly is not a platform for unsolicited advertising.

The following, in particular, are not allowed:

• mass messages
• repeatedly sending the same content
• advertising without permission
• affiliate links
• prize draws without consent
• pyramid schemes
• chain letters

Occasional references to your own events within the platform may be permissible, provided they are not abusive.

Any form of fraud is prohibited.

This includes in particular:

• fake profiles
• identity theft
• misrepresentation of facts
• phishing
• obtaining personal data by deception
• obtaining financial advantages by deception
• misleading activities

Where fraud is suspected, Nexly may remove content, suspend accounts and — where legally required — support the competent authorities.

The following content may not be shared or organised through Nexly:

• illegal drugs
• weapons trading
• human trafficking
• terrorism
• extremist content
• calls to commit crimes
• content endangering minors
• money laundering
• forgery of documents
• other criminal content

Such content will be removed without delay.

Respect other users' privacy.

The following, in particular, are not allowed:

• publishing private data of other people
• sharing phone numbers or addresses without consent
• publishing private chat histories without consent
• doxxing or the targeted disclosure of personal information

The following, in particular, are not allowed:

• automated bots
• manipulation of the platform
• circumvention of bans
• exploiting technical faults
• scraping or mass extraction of data
• attacks on servers or systems
• use of harmful software

Violations may lead to immediate suspension.

Depending on the severity of the violation, Nexly may take the following measures, among others:

• notice or warning
• removal of individual content
• restriction of certain features
• temporary suspension
• permanent suspension
• deletion of the user account
• notification of competent authorities where legally required

Each measure is taken taking into account the circumstances of the individual case.

There is, however, no entitlement to the restoration of an account.
